Those are great and I honestly think nobody makes a better watch for the money than Seiko.
The next one should be the black monster.

Way to go! Totally agree with Chip on the fact nobody offers better watches in their price range.

Uh oh! This is a gateway watch. This was the one that started my Seiko "problem". Whatever you do, don't google Seiko watch finder. Especially the dive watch one. Seriously you're gonna love this watch. Pictures rarely do the blue justice. I seem to get more appreciative comments on this watch than others I wear. Currently it's on a bradystrap but there are many options that look good on this watch. Enjoy!

Thanks guys! I'm really excited to get this watch and see the blue in person!
Mark, Is the watch finder an official Seiko tool or made by enthusiasts? I've found a couple. Definitely will be useful for adding to my collection! I can definitely see many more Seikos heading my way!

The Watch Sleuth home page has links to other brands and styles. I use his site a lot for model numbers then look for reviews etc on WUS or pricing on Amazon.ca.

Haven't really been a fan of Seiko watches. I think owning two watches with the Miyota 9015 movement is making reconsider Japanese watches. Today I stumbled across the Seiko 5 Sports SNZH53J1 and quickly realized I had to have it! Definitely like the price tag below $200. May I compliment you on your excellent taste sir! Congrats! Many of us started early on with this "gateway" watch, myself included. We've all agreed that the Seiko 5 Series are like Lays potato chips...you can't have just one. Don't start looking at their other diver watches...its like throwing gas on the fire...

There are some Seiko 5 field watches like SNK809 that if they were 42mm instead of 37mm I'd have already placed an order!

The Seiko SNZG15 is a great military time field watch, 42mm case and quite affordable... I own one myself and put a beefy leather pilot strap on it. There are also very similar SNZGxx models in blue, green, and sand color themes. This watch is more expensive that the one you were looking at, but its a better watch and there's more of it. I know this guy..."Jeff"... CLICK HERE ---> SNGZ15~J1
