I have been pondering on this model for months. I saw it last in a film with Robert Redford which in some way caused me to pull the trigger on this model. It arrived with the Seiko rubber strap which I removed as it is not a favourite with me. The spring bars are very tough and getting the strap off was quite difficult. I invariably use NATOS for everyday use because they are comfortable and safe and can be easily swapped. I don't think I will be getting leather for it as it is a diver watch. Putting a leather strap like a Hirsch on it would be like wearing Oxford Brogues with a track suit...LOL The packaging was excellent and came to me from Singapore through DHL:

Congrats! We seem to have a ton of incomings lately, many of which are Seiko's - a real testament to the brand. Is it the pepsi he wore in All Is Lost perhaps?

Your right about the movie Baco.... I rather thought the model was a 007 not a 009.
