Since Klange and MuckyMark have raised my curiosity and interest in micro brands, I've fallen for a few attractive, yet inexpensive pieces. Here's the first: Deep Blue Sea Ram 500 - MOP dial 500m WR - 45mm - Sapphire Signed crown - Swiss Ronda 715

Nice - Deep Blue makes some cool pieces. Love the sword hands and the lumed bezel.
You two should check out Helson as another microbrand.

Very nice. Love the lumed bezel. That dial must look fantastic IRL, is it blue? I think Kat has a Scurfa. I was looking the other day but all his watches show as sold out..

The dial is blue, then it's green, then it's reddish, then blackish. He's out of a lot with a few exceptions...I bought this on eBay new with tags.

Deep Blue actually have Canadian website. Free shipping and no border hassles. There's a couple I'm liking....now about that Helson Blackbeard. That's a conversation starter.

The black bezel, black dial model is sold out, but they have others... www.helsonwatch.com/blackbeard.phpAlso, it's worth e-mailing Peter at Helson if you are set on the black/black combo. He can tell you if more are in the works or not.

Glad to have been able to encourage interest in such a great sector of the market. I have been very impressed with the ingenuity of these brands. I have been looking into H2O watches and just found out that their Orca watches are not only able to be customized in 200 configurations, but the movement, dial, and crystal are built into a module that can be moved from case to case. This is an ingenious idea!! Here is a link to a YouTube video demonstrating how to move the module between cases.
