Just some forgotten pics that I had taken well over a year ago. They were good enough at the Boutique to put the new Seamaster 300 on mesh for me to see. It could well be an option in the future as well. I think that the Omega mesh comes only in 20 or 22mm, though, and the lug width is 21mm. If it doesn't fit properly, it could scratch the case quite a bit I think: Not good quality pics. Sorry. And they didn't have the steel model, just the TT. I think the mesh would suit the all steel model better. I'm going in to the Boutique on the weekend, so I will ask them to put a mesh on my Seamaster 300 and take some pics. Cheers, Carl

The pics don't show up for me Carl. Let's try this: Funny, I couldn't get the third one to download from Photobucket.

That watch seems to work well with the mesh bracelet. Between the leather strap and the original bracelet for now I couldn't see it getting as much use. Like you say though it's certainly a good future option to keep things interesting. A must have for this type of dive watch really. It'll look MUCH better on your all steel version for sure but look forward to your post after the next boutique visit!

I wonder if the 21mm lug spacing with a 20mm mesh would be noisy as it moves on the spring bar between the lugs? I do like the look, but would worry about unintended wear on the lugs / weakening of the springbars.

I do like the look, but would worry about unintended wear on the lugs / weakening of the springbars. That was mentioned to me at the Boutique as well. I can't remember if we tried a 22mm as well. I think that when the time comes if I decided to get a mesh, I will go for one like yours, with a solid end link. Or I have seen some other really nice ones online as well, manufacturers that make a 21mm lug width. I agree that it's best to get the correct size.
