I love Clive Cussler's books but was really disappointed in Sahara. Did you see it?

I enjoy reading Dirk Pitt stories. I bought a half dozen of Cussler's books, used from amazon.com (the only way to go) and have read 3 of them so far. They're a fun read.

The movie "Sahara" was entertaining but, like you, I was disappointed. The characters in the books are more sophisticated than they were portrayed in the movie.

Exactly! They turned Dirk & Al into goof balls in the movie. My wife and I have every Clive Cussler book. She's read most all of them...I've read 6 or 8. Good stuff!
