The accuracy is great too. So far every GS I've had surpassed all the Rolex watches I ever had my hands on. Unbeatable. My GS leads in accuracy over all automatic watches I own; Rolex, UN, Omega, and Panerai (worst). It ranks second to my quartz Tissot.

I wish I liked this one. But I don't. Something about the sapphire bezel doesn't look good to me, and I've never liked the crown at 4. Oddly enough, Dan said that's his best selling GS and they never make it to the display case. Maybe I'm the odd one. It's probably one of those to see IRL. Dressing it up on that strap with red stitching really pops that dial. I like it.

I wonder if it's popularity over other GS models has to do with the fact it is lumed - and very well - where most GS models are not lumed at all. I find that a plus, but many folks just cannot live without a lumed watch.
