Congratulation on the new watch. Looks great on your wrist. Enjoy it in good health.

Plastic is off! Doesn't removing the plastic have the same effect as driving a new car off the lot?

I am really liking their new standard for precision of -2/+2 sec/day, after casing. I had a few Rolexes over time, and the only one that was really accurate is the Air-King. The Milgauss and Explorer I were just barely, if not quite, the COSC standard. And a 5-year guarantee ain't too shabby either. And I can't honestly say that I don't like most of the changes and new models they have introduced at Basel 2016.
With my watches, I used to go merrily along without taking resale value into consideration. As I now look at, for example, my Air-King, I find that it has actually increased in price since I got it in 2011. And that seems to be the case with many Rolex models. I am having to change my tune about resale value not being an issue. Although I no longer see nearly as many new watches in my future, I have to be more careful about which I choose.
You say that your's has gained only 2 seconds in 48 hours, so that it actually better than advertised.

I agree on both accounts. The accuracy is much better than before and lagunatic 's watch is a prime example of that. As for resale, I hear you too. With my AP, Omega SM300 and the Exp II, I could sell them today for the same or more than what I paid for them. The PAM and Breitlings would result in loses even though they were purchased BNIB at great discounts. I do consider that when I make a purchase, but it's not at the top of my decision tree. Desire is first and then I weigh that against the potential loss should I tire of it and decide to flip it down the road. For me, the analogy is dining out at a very nice restaurant. Laurie and I love to cook and we do not "need" to eat out, much less at a fancy place with high prices. We do still do it occasionally and blowing $200 - $400 for dinner for two is totally unnecessary, but on occasion it's a conscious decision to treat ourselves. Watches are the same, sometimes I'm willing to take the loss for something I do not need, but that will give me enjoyment while I have it.

Congrats on that one, I'm a big EXPY fan. Use the II on a jubilee as my daily wearer.

I figured out the answer to the original question. The past tense of incoming is "NEXT!".
Happy Easter everyone.
