Anyone else see this teaser? Something in the video teaser made me (subconsciously) think this might be a black ceramic PO. Anyone else care to guess before they announce on Monday?

Maybe, but why show a view from space? You're likely correct in your assumption, I think they have milked the Speedmaster line enough.

They show the globe rotating and the "dark" comment comes as the continents pass and they are over the oceans.

No idea but I'm curious to find out what it is.

Unfortunately, I can't think of anything good to say. They remind me somewhat of Invicta watches. And the dark thing is getting a bit tedious. As Chip said, they milked the Speedmaster, now they milked the dark thing, and also getting way too many PO models. And, they are all getting very, very expensive. For that kind of money, the Rolex DeepSea looks better and better to me all the time.
I honestly can't relate any more to what direction Omega is taking. They just seem to be all over the map.

I don't like any of those new releases either. We'll see how the public take to these pieces (I'm sure some will like them) but a big N-O for me. A Rolex as my next "new" watch just became a simple choice.

Hmmm, I guess I'm not quite sure yet if I like it.. But I'm leaning towards a no. I want something new, not extensions of a line, I'm not a huge fan of the planet ocean in general so all these are not that appealing.

Matter of fact: at 10,400CHF the price is almost 14,000CAD which is about excactly the price of the Rolex Deepsea Sea Dweller. That is for full black/black blue/black red. The black and sedan gold adds over 3 grand. No brainer for me, if I ever have that kind of money, Rolex it will be.
And, it's a funny thing, but even all of Omega's innovation with the anti-magnetic, super-accurate movements, as exceptional as they are, would have absolutely no bearing on my choosing any of these pieces. And I am still highly skeptical about the ceramic cases, especially for a diver watch. Admittedly, an expensive luxury watch purchase doesn't need to make sense (being practical is never much fun!), but a ceramic diver - and quite a WR rating at that - just doesn't cut it for me. Kudos, though, to all the innovative qualities of the case, especially the Naiad Lock for the caseback which is also ceramic, just to be able to have a ceramic watch with that depth rating.

carl, I have to agree with you. Michael Kors and invicta is what went through my mind as well. Will it sell? Sure. But for my money, I'd much rather have a Submariner and a few grand left to spare, or the SD400. They lost their way.

Fratello has a hands on article. To me they're a tad gaudy, too much color matching. The size is off putting also, almost 18mm thick. I do like the new fabric look rubber straps though.

The Instagram comments aren't that positive either.

The Instagram comments aren't that positive either. I got that vibe from TRF as well. Maybe Omega over hyped this launch? That's how I feel anyway.
