Some help here, gang. Noticed my (seems that everyone here owned this watch) Monster only has less than 24 hours of power. Noticed it wasn't running long after I took it off so pulled a test. Left it on the winder for 25 hours, then set it up so I could easily see how long it ran on the dresser. Think it's time for service or a new engine? I don't do well flipping so I just may have to have it worked on and buy Chip's PAM in the meanwhile. Thanks.

I've heard it's easier to just get a new movement installed. Either way it does sound like you'll need some work done. I LOVE my Monster, it's a must have. Gld to see that you've also been enjoying one too.

aerome I sold the PAM to a fellow forum member earlier today. It's time to toss and get the second generation model, servicing the first one would cost as much as a brand new one.

The movements are cheap - around $30-$40 IIRC from when Al changed mine out. Just have to find someone to change it out for a reasonable cost. There are a lot of Seiko modders out there and I bet you could mail it to one of them and get it done for $25 or so. All that said, I love being able to hand wind and hack the movement in my latest gen Monster.

Mine still works great, and I'm always grateful to Roger (Baco Noir), for having one. I hope you get yours sorted out.
