What went wrong? Or why the change of heart?

What went wrong? Or why the change of heart? I was wondering the same thing.

What went wrong? Or why the change of heart? Thanks for asking. Let's just call it a change, possibly for the better. After all my excitement, I should be more disappointed. However, often these things turn out for the better. I thought about the Hi-Beat you have, Chip, but I would really rather have a quartz or an automatic. Mainly because of the higher maintenance of the Hi-Beat, not so much the cost but the hassle. So, I am going to consider another model perhaps or maybe just take a store credit for a while. The watches I sent are at Timeless, and I want to keep them there as there is nowhere else that I want to get a new one.
BTW, welcome back from Europe!

Sorry to hear that but at the same time is should be fun trying to decide. Thanks, Rommel. That is exactly the way I am thinking about the situation.

The answer to my dilemma: SBGR097 One I have been admiring for a long time. It is going to be the change of pace I will appreciate, from my smaller quartz models. It is a No Date, Automatic, 42mm, 21mm lug width blue GS logo dial, LE of 500: Admittedly, a very controversial dial design. I happen to love it. And apparently the logos are very hard to see in certain light, so the dial does not always appear like this. GS always do beautiful dials, and I am kind of glad to know they will do only 500 of these, so it will remain special over time: All going well, should have this for the weekend.

That is gorgeous. The blue is a beautiful hue and in the first photo I did not have any hint of the GS detail on the dial - it looked more like a tuxedo strip type dial. Congrats Carl.

That's pretty cool. Is it coming from timeless?

I'll have to agree, that's one of the best reviews I've ever read.
