Well, I love both of these, but I have never wear either of them. ;D So what's the story with that Clifton? Why don't you wear them?

This one sees the least amount of wrist time. This was my first Omega purchased a year ago this month. I use this watch for formal type occasions (very rare). I just can't part with it, because it's one of my favorites. I have a strange personality of wanting to keep things "like new". Even though I prefer this watch over my Bond, it sees less wrist time than it.....I just don't get it.

Hey Jeff, Had a student in my last class wear a Black dial Seamaster. It really is a beautiful watch. I think I like that bracelet better than the Bond.

Since you mentioned the Bond bracelet. Last December I took my new Bond into a local jeweler to have it sized. When it was done being sized and returned to me I noticed scratches all over the bracelet near the clasp. I told the clerk that this watch hadn't ever been worn and that their jeweler must of done it. I asked her to see if the jeweler could buff the scratches out. She took it back to him and it came back all shiny. Every piece of that bracelet (including the clasp) was shiny like chrome. I told her that his work wasn't acceptable and long story short, I got a new band off one of their display models. Jeff

I really like this one a lot but I've worn it maybe three times. It just doesn't seem to find it's way into the rotation.

At least they took care of it right there instead of some song and dance about ordering.

That story proves that most stores staff are just that sales people and repair staff that don't know anything about finish or about the watch itself other then the price. I've seen so many watch sellers that have no idea how to properly size a bracelet, its really just a shame.

So what's the story with that Clifton? Why don't you wear them? Hey Bruce, I'm sitting on the LV just in case it Rolex discontinues it, plus it round out the sub collection. The Daytona, well, I just have not be able to bring myself to wear it. But I am planning to put it on soon.

Yep, I was furious. Their "really good" repair guy was at a different store and I guess they pulled my repair guy off the street. They held the original bracelet over night to give to the "good" repair guy and he masked everything off and brushed the finish and polished it in the right spots....His work was OK, but I wasn't going to take a refurbished bracelet on a new watch. I would've had a sick feeling everytime I put it on Jeff

Jeff...that's why you buy a $10 bracelet sizing tool. You won't have to worry about some doof messing anything up on your new watch.
