Having mercilessly bashed Omega for months, I am sincerely pleased to report on a watch which I really do like. The new Railmaster is part of the Seamaster Aqua Terra line. I really like what Omega did with the aesthetics, and the fact that the entire case and bracelet is brushed. And solid caseback as well. Anyway, this review from Worn and Wound is the most extensive review I have seen so far, since the watch was introduced at Basel 2017. I have no idea, however, why Omega has not officially posted it on their website yet. Anyway, here is a link to the wonderful review, which says it all, so I'm not gonna comment any more: wornandwound.com/review/omega-seamaster-aqua-terra-railmaster-review/This is one that I really look forward to seeing, but apparently I will not have the chance till sometime this coming Fall. Cheers, Carl

I saw it in person at the Basel release party and thought it looked great on the grey canvas strap.

As W & W shows in the review and video, it kind of accentuates the case shape a bit more. Would love to be able to see one of the LE models, but they just look too shiny in the photos. And are likely all sold anyway. From the photos and videos, I like this new one better. And I think the 40mm is a perfect size for that watch.

Yes, it certainly looks the part, the brushed case really makes a difference. It has a certain maturity and subtlety about it and would work very well with the NATO strap in my opinion.

Have you seen the canvas strap it comes on? Looks great so I'd say you are spot on with the NATO option too.
