Here's a video on Michael Young's own watch collection done by highsnobiety: "In our latest studio visit, we head to Classic Watch Repair’s headquarters in Hong Kong to learn more about the company’s founder, Michael Young. An internationally acclaimed vintage Rolex collector and repairer, Young shows us some of his favorite Rolexes from his personal collection, alongside select pieces from Tudor and Breitling. Watch the video above to learn why he’s affectionately referred to by the Rolex community as the “bracelet magician.” " www.classicwatchrepair.com

Cool! It was fun to see and hear him. I’ve read about his band restoration services for a LONG time, but never seen a photo of him so I had no idea what to expect. Looks like he’s also not a one man shop, which is what I had always assumed.
WRT his watch collection, there were some real surprises in there including the Breitling Chronomatic - not one I had heard of before. I also did not know that the Oyster quartz was a hybrid quartz-mechanical movement.
Too bad they didn’t do a detailed look at his band restoration process. That’d be really interesting to see.
Thanks for sharing Rommel.

What a wonderful video. Marvelous that guy could follow his passion enable it to become his profession. What a collection. That Tudor chrono and the Oysterquartz to name a couple. Great, humble guy who is proud to share his passion with others. Thanks for that, Rommel.

Great video. As Carl said he’s one of the lucky few who turned his passion into a career. Thanks for posting it..
