A truly fascinating watch the Sea-Dweller is! Thanks for sharing this, Carl. Also, that new one (current one) with the red text on the dial is something else!

The new one really must be a masterpiece! I just don't know when or where I am ever going to see one in real life. Each and every one of the Rolex Professional and sport watches are in such short supply. The only one I have seen in the last year is an Explorer 1 and the GMT model that you have. Even the precious metal GMT models and Submariners are not to be seen now. As I can see on various Rolex forums, to even get a glimpse on one is almost impossible.

I've been seeing this on the forums too and lived it earlier this year trying to locate mine. Rolex no doubt seem to be playing the supply and demand game for steel watches especially now. At first it seemed like the AD (in the summer) telling me they sold the last one and didn't know when a replacement would be in seemed like a load of crap. Hopefully you'll get the chance soon enough to check this watch out in person. Once this happens and you like the watch enough, it's a win win really. If you got that and later decided to flip it could very well be one of the easiest flips you've ever done.

That was a cool video! About the new one, I've noticed about a 50/50 love hate around the watch world. But, I love it. It fits much better than the Deepsea, Im ok with the cyclops, love the red writing, etc
