That watch looks good....a lot of character. Amazingly good shape considering what all you've put it through.

That's what I love about watches that are used the way they were supposed to be. Every scratch tells a story. These watches have "character",they become part of who we are.

I wear my watches on the right wrist. It was on when this happened to me (and I was wearing a tshirt at the time so no protection for the watch): Since then, it survived one more motorcycle accident, several drops on concrete, it was used to cut open boxes, got married wearing it... recently it was peed on.... I don't think that I can ever sell that watch! Truth be told, it's the only watch that means anything to me.

I think my Seamaster Bond bracelet looks worse, lol! Speaking of that, does anyone know where I can get just the sleeves and pins for a Bond bracelet? I had to "borrow" a couple out of my old bracelet for another one I sold last year. Cheers, Bruce

You mean the little stick thingies that hold the bracelet links together? I can ask me dealer. They have an in house authorised Omega service center and I am sure I can get some of them.

You may have to buy a whole link to get the sleeves. What about a local watch shop? www.ofrei.com/page661.html

I may have to buy the links from Otto. I've looked there before. I think I'll try the local. Cheers, Bruce

LOL Chip, yep that's what I mean. I think i still have the pins, but the sleeves are gone. I don't know if my dealer keeps any Omega parts around. They don't really do any service work, except on Rolex.
