Hi all, I've been told I can expect my BLNR comes in in the next few months and the AD has said RUSA is pushing back on selling them a jubilee with a broken one needing replacement or sending in a head that would have had one (possibly wanting to service it too). While I haven't given up home on it, I am looking at options. First thing I did was purchase some custom end links to fill the gap between case and strap - those arrived yesterday. With the Jomashop strap sale, I also bought a shiny black alligator strap with black stitching and a matte navy blue alligator with off white stitching. Those are pretty generic options that would work fine, but not really add much flare. I did see a picture of one on a mesh similar to the one I own already and though it looked great - but CHIP hated it; just goes to show different strokes for different folks. I'm toying with the idea of getting a custom strap from Aaron at Combat Straps - maybe a distressed black alligator or Alacantra strap with matching or contrast stitching, and possibly a bright blue leather underneath that shows the color on the edge of the strap and in the buckle holes. Thought I'd toss it out to the peanut gallery and see what ideas you all have. 😧 Ready, set, GO!

Black suede with aqua blue stitching. They look good separate but would reserve final judgement until they're together.

I may look to see if he has one that closely matches the blue bezel color. He can make the sides and underside of the strap the same blue for even more color on the strap. Here’s an example but obviously not the color combo I’m thinking of.

I'm assuming RubberB and Everest are not in consideration? IMHO I think that watch looks best on the bracelet. I've seen some pics where it has been completely brushed and I like that over the PCL.

I’ve looked at all their offerings and the black rubber Everest with the tang buckle is my favorite but was looking for a leather option too.

I guess I'm in the minority here. I think Rolex watches look best with the bracelets that came attached from the factory. That being said, I think that a Super Jubilee on a BLNR is fine; it's a Rolex bracelet. Now, if you don't want a metal bracelet, you could get the Oysterflex Bracelet and find a SS clasp, that would be terrific!

Got to agree that the BLNR looks best with factory OEM bracelet. However, that mesh in the pic looks darn nice as well. I'm not really into leather on these GMT and Sub models, although a good rubber strap like Everest would look good IMO.
