With Basel world just days away, what would you like to see? What do you think we will get?
I’m hoping for a Pelagos GMT.

I’m hoping you get some great pictures and have the trip of a lifetime going to Basel this year.
Oh, and I’m hoping it doesn’t hurt my wallet. LOL

More new dials for the platinum Day Date 40. Anything specific you’d like to see, Ron? What would the perfect (to you) Day Date dial look like?

LOL We will do our best, i really do think it will be a great trip. Luckily my wallet will be empty once I get back, so this year I’ll just look and use the drool emoji a lot.

This is the one rumor I’ve seen that I’m pulling for and already told my AD if it happens I want the first one. Ceramic Pelagos on rubber strap.

I have two already and have always wanted a snowflake, but the prices of the vintage ones have gotten out of control. I’ve wanted a ceramic too since the DSOTM came out, so if this hits the street I’m in. If not, I might flip the 422 to get a GSOTM.

Very curious to see what Rolex is gonna do. Maybe update the Sub models with the new movement, and a new look with narrower lugs? I think also there might be a revamp of the Oyster Perpetual model lineup, possibly involving the smaller 34mm and 36mm models. One reason I retrieved my 34mm OP from consignment sale.
Omega will likely revamp their Seamaster 300M lineup. I think it is last to receive the new anti-magnetic movements.
Personally, I don't have any hopes. There are enough brands and models already to keep me going. My dream came true with the Railmaster 60th Anniversary LE, which I hope to have in a few short weeks.
Even though I would not be in the market for one, I am with Ron on Rolex offering more dial options for the DD40 Platinum.

I think the sub case will stay the same, it’s still too new, but I agree with new movements.
My gut feeling tells me it’s the Explorer II that will get an overhaul, but I have no clue what they will do. Personally, I’d like to see it back in a 40mm case, and with a ceramic bezel.

This is a scary thought, but I think it’s very possible. They already did this colour combo with the YM, so this wouldn’t surprise me too much. Not for me though, not my cup of tea.

Yeah, even the original root beer didn’t do anything for me. If they can pull off that bezel in ceramic that’d be pretty cool though.
