OK if its easy them let me take a stab at it. 1. Take the original, and overlay it with a black layer 2. use the rectangle tool and highlight the area of the black layer 3. Cut the area out of the black layer I have no idea if this is right, I was just guessing

I was doing it a different way, more complicated.
