Jeff, I go to Losee jewlers, i think they are the only Omega dealers in Utah Co. the salesman said that Mr. Losee is a huge speedy fan, and that hes got about 7, he said that 2 of them are the 18k gold ones that only 1000 or so were made. I told him that he should tell mr. losee to bring in his collection sometime

The key here is NEVER go watch browsing unless you are ready to pull the trigger. Every time I go looking, I completely lose track of what a dollar is worth....those $40K watches make that Sub look like bargain. Adam....I see Santa bringing you a Speedy for Christmas.

Jeff, Yeah Losee has a pretty nice selection, especailly rolex, they have everything. I am thinking this forum will be great with late nights with the baby ;D I think my celebration present will be a speedy in christmas. Congrats on the baby in July

Second hand, something between $1400 and $2000 I guess Jon

Adam..good luck on the baby front.. hope it goes well. wait till you buy the speedy.. i love these manual wind watches.. and the great thing about speedy is that i have NEVER seen a strap it doesnt go with.. heres a 'watchpaint' of a speedy in adobe since you ask for no photos.. ;D
