This one really is stunning! It is kind of like how I wish the Apollo 11 50th Anniversary Stainless Steel LE would look. Actually, when the Apollo 11 50th Anniversary LE came out, I dashed down to the Omega Boutique and put down a deposit. Over the next day or so, I started to take a closer look and realized no, not the one for me. So I cancelled and got my deposit back. I am sure it will go to someone who really loves it.
Anyway, yes, the Platinum is amazing. My only gripe is that, since it will be cost prohibitive for most, why not go with a platinum bracelet as well. I, for one, would love the sheer weight of the watch. I have handled a Rolex Day-Date 40 Platinum, and just loved the weight of it. Apparently Omega is going to keep going with the 321, and not just this year, so might be interesting to see if anything new develops. I would love to just be able to see one of these in real life! This is definitely one watch that I would be glad of having a sapphire case back on!!
Will be interesting to see how fast these will sell, taking into consideration that the 1014 pieces of the Moonshine Gold LE were apparently gone in little time.

I guess the "scanner" they used so that they could accurately recreate a watch that was worn by an astronaut must have been off...it got the case material wrong, the dial materials wrong, bezel material wrong, etc. Apparently 321 output will be limited to 2000 per year, but all of those won't be platinum, so I expect a stainless version will be announced at some point.

LOL Archer - yeah using the moonwatch moniker does seem a bit off. But it’s a stunner IMHO

I read somewhere that retail is in the neighborhood of $70K. Yeah I saw $60k on another site. I don’t think the actual price has been released but either way it’s out of my budget!
