Was looking at the two watches. Really like the Explorer as it fits more snug on the wrist and isn't as thick. However, a new one goes for 8k and the Tudor BB Steel with a date is 3.9k.
I like the Tudor a lot, but I am wondering from a host of Rolex aficionados, is the Rolex Explorer II really worth 2x the price of the Tudor?
They ultimately both tell the time and look and feel nice. I don't know if it's just the Rolex Crown and Cyclops people love and are willing to pay an extra 4.2k for or if the Rolex is REALLY that much better.

Welcome to the forum I have versions of both watches, and they aren’t a direct comparison. They are both quality watches without a doubt. Depends on what you want as far as styles go and what you can afford. I don’t think you can go wrong with either.

Two very different watches and yes, affordability comes into the picture.
