@akbw Thanks for posting video. Didn’t know about removing properly. I see what you gents mean about people using masks etc. I was at the local hardware store and saw one of the guys guarding the door repeatedly lifting his mask to scratch his nose. Exactly! Along with the Covid-19 task force briefing, mandatory basic educational training is required for all citizens to watch! What's the point of having PPE if they aren't being used properly? That goes the same way with mandatory national lock down. Some states like FL and AZ still have golf courses operating. That's like designating a section of a public pool for urination.

If social distancing and PPE are worn it seems golf courses should operate. Maybe by the end of April there will be guidelines so that businesses can reopen. Whether those guide lines are adhered to is a problem. But that's a problem with anything... And restaurants. Can there be "safe" occupancy limits for the time being?

I've seen great examples of what you're saying with gloves. For me though, I use to work in the radiological industry and wear PPE all the time, and gloves are highly effective if used properly. The sad thing is people can be careful the whole time they are wearing them and then when taking them off, 90%+ untrained personnel will cross contaminate themselves by removing them improperly. It takes some training to remove them without letting clean areas touch dirty ones. And most importantly, +1 on the sweet Tudor! Might as well review the proper way to donning and doffing gloves becasue the more you know.... Please feel free to spread it around. I mean the proper way of using gloves and not the virus. When I saw the words “donning and doffing” I knew that was legit! Excellent demonstration.

That last part it SPOT ON! I’ve seen so many people wearing masks and pulling them down and back up in manners that cross contaminate but they think they are protecting themselves. They might as well be licking whatever germs are on their masks. It’s a false sense of security. And unless it’s an N95 certified mask and used properly, the protection factor goes downhill fast from there. Cloth masks are at best 10-40% effective, when used properly.

And I see people with masks below their nose. They are supposed to cover the nose.

We're just so way behind in battling this virus and the only way to slow it down now is to through social isolation. We lack the testing capability for everybody, healthcare workers are running out and are in desparate need of PPE. As unfurtunate the situation we're all in now, we should not give up hope and should continue in avoiding and spreading the virus. Let's give the scientists time and the healthcare workers and system a much needed break to catch up and breathe. We can only do this if we're all on the same path. N95 mask should be given to the front liners, they need that more than the general public as long as people are cooperating with social distancing.
