There's 2 Tudors included amongst the 137 lots. They don't make headlines so let's highlight and enjoy them too. sold $80,000 sold $28,000

Wow, a lot of historically significant watches up for grabs here. I can't wait to see what some end up selling for.

Wow, a lot of historically significant watches up for grabs here. I can't wait to see what some end up selling for. Yeah, the Newman Daytona and McQueen Heuer are outstanding pieces of history for some lucky collector(s).

I would love to see those pieces in person. Not even own but to simply see. Any of those or a Comex Sea-Dweller, oh my.

Oh my goodness! And it looks as if it's in excellent condition too. I think for me other than any celebrity owned / inspired icons the ultimate for me is the 16600 Comex. Image from Google I could never sell it or the lovely example you shared above. Replacing it would be as close to impossible as one could imagine. It makes me wonder what piece they're selling it to get, but that's a lot of money with a ton of purchasing power.

Wow, I just went to their website and I'm getting even more excited.
It's remarkable what the Seamaster sold for but given the history behind the brand and product line I'm not entirely surprised.
One would've expected the Patek Philippe piece to sell for more.

For some reason I'm not able to watch or bid live from my device (Android phone). Maybe that's a good thing. I had this one in another thread but very cool to see what it ended up going for. $214,200.00 USD

The prices you see on Hodinkee are higher than the hammer prices. Must be added commissions and costs.

More than likely. I'm curious as to what these auction houses usually charge with regards to commission and fees as a final percentage. My guess is the buyer will end up paying that, as we've seen. Also from that site is a picture of the Panerai set.
