What an event that was. No record breaking Patek Philippe sales like some past auctions (as far as I know) but the lineup didn't disappoint.
Some very lucky new owners must be over the moon. I can only imagine the import fees for international buyers haha.

The man who presented and hammered down the bidding was Mr. Aurel Bacs. Here's a short film to know more.

The man who presented and hammered down the bidding was Mr. Aurel Bacs. Here's a short film to know more. I really enjoyed that. Most of his watches mark a moment in time and are classic watches, where I went into the video expecting him to have mostly unique LE/limited production or celebrity owned watches given his career.

Excellent video! The words he spoke are very true and exemplify what this passion / hobby is all about. Just fuels my desire further to buy any of the watches I can afford and hold onto them, for life. It's getting SO hard to find good examples and when you do they're super costly. Here's a look at the summary. www.phillips.com/auctions/auction/NY080120
