The Fortis B-42 Cosmonaut finally arrived today! I got SO lucky with this one. Like new in the box with stickers still on it. As you can see from the warranty card it was purchased from a US AD in October 2020, less than 3 months old! Years ago I had one of these but sold it to my brother so it was nice to get my hands on the updated version without the problematic screw down crown. I'm craving another Omega diver for 2021, a Planet Ocean Chronograph. It would fit nicely into the collection.

rw16610 congrats on the pick up. You’ve got a well rounded collection there. I like some of the Fortis line, especially the new F-39. The only downside would be having to explain why I have watch with the local gas utility company name on it....

Thanks muckymark Fortis has some great watches but chances are this will be one of the last for me. I've got the TrueLine circa the 60s and this, of course. Googling the brand can be a pain if you don't specify watches. I had no clue this was also the name of your local utility company! I'm doing my best to avoid buying a vintage Omega Seamaster so it's not a setback from the Planet Ocean Chronograph. The Chronomat 44 had me but a sapphire caseback displaying the lovely movement is something I truly craved for years. The Audemars Piguet I'm aiming for down the road has a steel caseback so the Planet Ocean remains the front runner. We hall see though!

Baco Noir Thanks! It's such a nice feeling to have it back. This like the rest will be kept, for life. I really did luck out with this one, for sure.
