carl I have seen some comments regarding sharp edges on the casebook and bracelet of the new Speedy. What are your observations?

muckymark yes, I have seen a few remarks - and a rather long thread on WUS - about these concerns. Personally, I haven't had any issues at all. Matter of fact, this is the most comfortable stainless steel bracelet on any watch I have owned. I can't say about the lugs, as I have no issues either. The caseback is also really comfortable, as there is a double taper where there the older models had a single taper. It makes the case really mold into the wrist better. As well, the case is slightly thinner, although only about .5mm. This pic shows the smaller taper at the edge of the text, then the larger one: Certainly the biggest taper, from 20mm to 15mm, I have had on any bracelet. Mostly they taper to 16, 17 or 18mm. But it does add to the comfort. The bracelet is very flexible, you can bend it right over backwards as well, and also flexible side-to-side. Can't say much more!
