Thanks for starting this thread, priamo . I'm going to be following this one closely like the past Phillips auction thread. Very cool to see what some of the vintage Gold watches are worth. I've always wanted a Gold watch, so it might help point me in the right direction.

Lovely! I'm interested to see how accurate the estimates are. They seem to be rather on the low end, but only time will tell. I was discussing this on another forum and feel it's a tactic used to attract more bidders, so people feel there's a chance. Also, a way to potentially instill confidence in future sellers hoping to get top dollar for their prized possessions. Keep the updates coming, priamo !

Wow, indeed! After the Phillips auction I got a sense of what these buyers were willing to pay. Some lucky new owners out there, that's for sure.
