Thanks Rommel. I'm excited too. Topper's had a white dial LE Laco a while back and I almost bought one. I liked the blue hour markers on it, but the way the dial was laid out the Arabic hour numbers seemed out of proportion. Otherwise it was a sweet watch. It used a Laco/ETA movement and was more than 3x the cost. I kept coming close to buying one but the proportions just kept me away. With the RR chapter ring on this one, the numbers can get pushed out further on the dial and are better proportioned IMHO. The one thing that gets me in some photos, but not others is how thick the blue outlining is around the hours. That'll be something I have to see IRL to know how I feel.

I don’t know how I feel about the white dial on the flieger but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the blue markers. I’m excited for you.

I think this in a Cali dial works well. I like the blue blocks on the hour within the chapter ring. Tightens up the whole dial to my eyes. The hands might be heat blued? Very nice LE. Congrats!

Really nice the way heated blue changes with light, from blue to black. Got me thinking, those blue blocks within the chapter ring, almost looks like they are thermal blued metal too? The photos seem to indicate they could very well be. But either way, looks good. Laco has been around a long time and afaik they've always used ébauche. This is powered by the highly regarded Miyota 821A at 21,600 beats. Which I like because less wear and tear than a higher beat movement. Today an ébauche is often contrasted with a so-called "in-house" movement although this distinction is in reality not so cut-and-dried – an ébauche, if of high quality and if finished well, can be more horologically interesting than an in-house movement, if the latter is poorly designed or finished. It just arrived and looks great, but I have to sell something(s) to pay for the MacBook I had to buy yesterday. It’s either 1) the Heuer Autavia; or 2) the Aerospace, the Laco, the Seiko Monster and the Zodiac Sea Wolf. Ugh, retiring during a recession forces me to be more frugal.
