That's probably my favorite ladies Rolex....looks kind of like a "hers" Explorer I.

Well done JJ. I'm sure you had no part in it and did not persuade her one bit.

Well done JJ. I'm sure you had no part in it and did not persuade her one bit. Who? Me? Whatcha talkin' about? ;D ;D ;D All I did was take her over to Mansor's, show her around, introduce her to all that cleavage and BINGO!! she just saw the one she liked (the watch, I mean! ) and the rest, as they say, is history!!

JJ, nice ladies Rolex she will enjoy wearing it. Thanks, Erik and all you guys, It's the very base model...she was not interested in the date and find the cyclops "ugly" Although it's a non-chronometer, the last 24 hours have shown spot-on accuracy. It's a late F-953xxx with the new style box. JJ

Realistically, it's not that easy to read the date on the ladies model anyway. I can't say that I blame her for choosing that one. That dial is gorgeous, too.

Thanks, Sam....most ladies do prefer a nice watch more for its ornamental value rather than its utilitarian one. A date is just an extra redundant feature according to them. The "pink" dial is also known as the "copper" dial. Personally, I wouldn't wear a copper dial; but on a lady it does look good. Last night we went out for dinner and Nina just couldn't keep her eyes off the watch. It made me laugh out loud a number of times and told her not to worry about it....we know the feeling, don't we??

Tell Nina congrats from over here in the UK - lovely dial colour. I wonder if it's the same for ladies and this will be just the start of her Rolex 'collection'!

Tell Nina congrats from over here in the UK - lovely dial colour. I wonder if it's the same for ladies and this will be just the start of her Rolex 'collection'! LOL!! ;D I don't think so. This is Nina's very first Rolex and probably her last. She's a one watch lady and, in fact, we went into Mansor's yesterday looking for a TT Omega. The Aqua Terra she saw in TT was only around $170 cheaper in price than the Rolex......and that too the AT was a quartz. So, as you can see, the Rolex was a better choice!!

I'm not a big fan of the ladies Aqua Terra....the ladies Constellation is a much better looking watch IMO. For that price difference, that's a no brainer! She made the right choice.
