Hi guys, Rolex have come out with ALL solid links on their new TOG (Turn-O-Graph) models as well as their new style DJ models. Now both, Jubilee as well as Oyster bracelets have their entire links SOLID and there is also a vast improvement in their clasps. The Jubilee has a concealed one now and the Oyster clasp is vastly improved. Some pics for your perusal...

A vast improvement....especially on the jubilee bracelet. Yes, Sam...agreed! Hopefully, these all solid links will now take care of the infamous Jubilee S-T-R-E-T-C-H!!!

Clifton has a TOG just like that top pic, and I must say it's really a beauty in person.

Love the new solid link bracelets. One problem looms, there is no longer a fine adjustment on either bracelet.

The Jubilee has absolutely no adjustment except for the HALF link as in Omegas; but the Oyster bracelet is amazing and absolutely ingenius....just like that of the Daytona clasp. It has a small HALF link inside which flip-flops either way for personal resizing. Then to top it all, there are 3 adjusting holes on the INSIDE only. They don't go all the way through so you see nothing on the smoother outer wall of the clasp. Very clever arrangement and aesthetically very neat too!!

The links are so short, you don't need a fine adjustment. Are you sure the new oyster doesn't have an internal fine adjustment like the Daytona clasp?

thanks JJ, didnt realise that the oyster bracelet was upgraded aswell.. do all of the new ones have a polished centre link? will the new oyster bracelets appear on the sports models? 64,000 dollar question, Mamas. Yes to the first part.....the new ones all have polished centre links. As to your second question......well, Rolex are strategists and damn good marketing people. They are well aware that their present sports line up is selling like the proverbial hot cakes. So why bother giving us SOLID centre links when the watches are already flying off the shelves!!! I don't think we shall be seeing solid links on the sports line up for a very long time.....unless, of course, you decide to buy the FULL SOLID GOLD model. JJ

I'm actually nervous that Rolex is going to start using that solid oyster on the next generation Sub. Would not be a fan of those polished center links on a tool watch.
