I can agree with that Clifton. I wouldn't buy a sub if it had that bracelet.

I'm actually nervous that Rolex is going to start using that solid oyster on the next generation Sub. Would not be a fan of those polished center links on a tool watch. it would make rolex look like an invicta..

The solid bracelet may indeed appear on the next gen. sub. as well as the GMT. Would they do it on the sea-dweller? Or would Rolex attempt to keep the dweller in the "tool watch" vein?

You're partly right there, Jim. The Jubilee has absolutely no adjustment except for the HALF link as in Omegas; but the Oyster bracelet is amazing and absolutely ingenius....just like that of the Daytona clasp. It has a small HALF link inside which flip-flops either way for personal resizing. Then to top it all, there are 3 adjusting holes on the INSIDE only. They don't go all the way through so you see nothing on the smoother outer wall of the clasp. Very clever arrangement and aesthetically very neat too!! Thanks for the info. JJ As with Clifton, I'm a bit worried about the potential advent of polished centre links on the 'sports' model range. I wonder if anyone from Rolex ever reads these forums, to gauge what the public at large etc. may be thinking re: design issues. I suppose we could always write to them with a wishlist. Rambler

Rambler, the unfortunate thing is that only about 1 % of the guys that buy subs/ GMTs etc are WIS.. most of the other buyeres may welcome the change of inclsuion of polished centre links.. would 'bling up' the watch for them

Hopefully they'll just be solid and not polished.
