there's a strong rumour going round being backed by a few ADs that as of 1st Nov there will be a 10% UK price rise on sports models and 4-5% across the remainder of the range. We will see!

10% - that quite a hike on the sports models! Will there come time when Rolex start to price themselves out of customers? Time will tell.

Steve...while a 10% hike would p*ss me off, it wouldn't keep me from buying what I want. How much was the increase last Feb? 5%? Logic would make you think that at some point, Rolex will price themselves out of the market. Doesn't seem to be working that way though.

i can't remember our last hike, im almost sure you're talking 4yrs ago , whilst elsewhere there have been several, " due to currency fluctuations" is the official line, so just perhaps we should be grateful!!!! steve

Oh...I suppose the 4-5% increase last Feb was only in the US. If it's been 4 yrs in the UK since an increase, 10% doesn't sound crazy.

Just found this on another forum.

Confirmed by my AD via a letter from Rolex today, prices he gave me are as follows...
SS GMTII - £2600 SS Sub Date - £2610 SS Sub Date LV - £2790 TT Sub - circa £4050 - can't remember exactly SD - circa £2700 SS Daytona - £4000

I had heard from a couple ADs in my area of a US price increase in Feb. While I wouldn't like it,if it included something like the Maxi-Dial it would make it a little easier to take.

Don't hold your breath on that Maxi-dial Mike. Hmmm...February. So I've got 3 months to work a couple Rolos into the collection.

While I wouldn't like it,if it included something like the Maxi-Dial it would make it a little easier to take. Agreed Mike. With all the model updates going on with the DateJust, seems time for new sport model changes. That would make the price spike more palatable.
