Alright its a bugger that your next ones gonna cost more, but dont you just get that slightest hint of satisfaction, when there's a price hike , that now what you do have is worth that much more and would of took that bit more to have got it in the first place

I see your point....IF I had all the Rollies I ever wanted. In that case, bring on the price increases. Unfortunately, I need MORE.

Didn't mean to be rude wtll. Just Just meant that for buyers, more price rises can't be good. Am I pleased prices are rising - No. I guess if you own some already, you're probably pleased they are worth potentially more. Rambler

Good thanks wtll. You never know how people might take something you've meant as a joke. So, thought I'd better clarify. Will more than likely wait until Basel 2006; Maxi Dial (you never know) on Dweller (really do prefer the thicker hands - don't know about the larger lume) and see what they unleash upon an unsuspecting world...who knows. If it isn't next year it'll more than likely be the next; but that's a long, long (did I say long) time to wait. Rambler

Oh sure it's nice that pieces you currently have may potentially be worth a bit more. But,excluding certain vintage pieces,is that greater valve off set by the higher price should you decide to replace with a newer or "upgraded" model.
I think the real value of most watches we buy is in the satisfaction we get from owning and using a watch we've saved, plotted, and planned to get. What other possession can you have that is used and gives satisfaction 24/7 with so little upkeep over the long term?
