But I don't want to spend a fortune on it. I want it to be a diver, on bracelet. It has to be mechanical. I'd rather have a swiss movement or a russian movement than a japanese one. (why russian... don't know. I just feel like it.) Price? Under 300 bucks. What do I have? Invicta, Vostok K-3... what else? This place has hundreds of Invictas in stock... goldspeed.com/invicta.html

I think the Vostok looks pretty sweet. Knurling on the crown appears well done. The day & night indicator is a nice touch.

Erik They are getting harder and harder to come by. You can get one from www.longislandwatch.comThey are about 180 dollars. Since they are only making 999 of them, the supplies are limited. I had one for a few days, that I got for a friend of mine and I really liked it. Two things I did not care for: non hacking, and no quick set date.

I think Poljot and Trais also have some nice pieces for around $300, although they are mostly strap watches.
I have been looking at some Hamiltons for a while, you can usually get a 2824 for under $300.

I had one as well, I did'nt care much for the winding, was'nt super smooth, well she has a new home. From her Portfolio: Back Side: Black & white Headshot sans model
