Convinced me to buy another Black Monster. For $139 bucks, how do you say no to this ugly face.

LOVE waiting on shipping from Singapore! Sometimes, buying an inexpensive watch can stave off the inevitable expensive watch purchase.

OK, so I want one of these. Can these be bought in stores in the US, or do I have to go the net or eBay route?
Went to the Seiko USA site to find a local dealer and the Monster isn't listed on their site. This an Asia only watch?

Ben.... While I've heard of the rare occasion where someone found a BM or OM in a local store, your best bet is probably eBay. There are several reputable sellers on eBay that are in Asia. Do a search for "skx779*" and you should find plenty of Black Monsters. I have bought 2 watches from the seller "watches59" and had no problems. Also know a lot of people have purchased from "pokemonyu". Just check feedback and buy from one of the larger sellers and you'll be alright.

I've purchased two Seiko's from reputable dealers on Ebay. I figure over 28,000 feedback and 97-98% positive can't be too bad. Jeff

Ebay is a great way to go, the only problem is no box or papers and no warranty, but its not like it really matters on a $150 dollar watch. I have heard of various Seiko outlet stores, I know their is one in Las Vegas somewhere, that offer the monster at a good price with box, papers and warranty. Also the watch commander has them for $200. I got mine from ebay with no problems and would recommend that, but just giving you the options.

If you could get one with box & papers that would be nice. I wouldn't pay much extra though. At $139, if it breaks just buy another one.....and I highly doubt you'll ever have to worry about that anyway.

Hmmm.....orange or black....orange or black....orange or black. The black is a classic color. But the orange....ahhh, now that's just an in-your-face color and this looks like an in-your-face kinda watch. Decisions, decisions... -Ben

That IS the question Ben. For $300 bucks you could have both! That's what I did a few short months ago....then I sold both of them....now I miss them so I just bought another BM. Both are oh so cool though!
