K,
It is a lot of watch - and a lot of watch for the money!
I've actually had mine for a couple of years, and have been very satisfied. It does spend most of its time on the winder during the summer, for I find the rubber strap uncomfortable in hot weather. I'm wearing it today, though - it's 58F outside right now!
The watch keeps pretty good time; about +6 sec/day. You will enjoy this watch, but if you plan on wearing it daily, I would suggest getting the s/s bracelet.

I love the Seastar, it's definitely one that's on my wish list. Somebody put one on a Omega mesh bracelet a while ago and I thought it was a terrific combo.

Since this is in the Frugal Forum, I'll ask....how much do these run? Like it on that mesh bracelet Warren.....those Omega bracelets are expensive though!

Around 500 USD I've seen them for closer to 400. That Omega bracelet I think it costs about as much as the watch.

Sam - I paid $325 shipped new.
I checked it today, and it's about +10 sec's. I didn't wear it it was resting crown up.
I think that mesh bracelet looks real nice on this particular watch.
Erik- Cool caseback, I promised myself that my next watch was going to have a see thru back.

K - You got a great price on that beauty. I paid $395.00 at an authorized dealer after selling him a Suburban at invoice. I think you did a lot better than I did!
