I bought my Tissot T-Touch about a year ago from www.glooks.com and was totally pleased with the transaction.

Thanks for the web address. This is a fair bit cheaper. I have several eBay auctions going that end in a couple days. Should provide a tidy little profit to put on one of these. Probably go with the 38mm version, though. These 43 year old eyes have to squint more than they used to as it is. -Ben

That's a cool watch for under $200 bucks.

Well, the replacement Khaki hand-wind arrived today. Glooks.com gets two thumbs up from me for customer service. They took the watch back that had a chipped crystal with no problem and promptly sent me a replacement.
The 17 jewel ETA 2804 is ticking away on my wrist right now. I'll post pics when I get a chance.

Great news Gary!! Can't wait for the pics and your impressions. Well, I can give you one impression already: I hate the strap. Why are OEM straps on sport watches always so darn thick? Is everyone in love with padded straps? I'm replacing this one ASAP.

I got rid of that ridiculously thick strap and put on a plain black leather strap. MUCH more comfortable to wear now.
Accuracy is +14 the first 24 hours. It will probably settle down some, but I can live with that.
It's funny, the most accurate mechanical watches I own are two Gruen hand winds, one over 60 years old and the other 50 years old. Both run within chronometer specs.
