A Seiko Blue Monster arrived recently but hasn't been on the wrist very much. A black dial Omega GMT arrived in early November compliments of my wife as a birthday gift so it has been getting wrist time. Using seller's pictures : I was expecting a brighter blue color but am really pleased that it isn't as garish as some others have stated. Spitting image of its Orange and Black cousins. Serial number is 056/05 but I'm not sure how many will be made. Photo setup is in the process of revamping so personal pictures will be delayed a while. If you're hesitating because of the supposedly bright blue color, it is really very nice. If you're hesitating because of high prices, look around; there are several around for under $300. including shipping to the US.

Hi Royola, maybe a little too bright for me also but I havn't seen one in person yet. Anyway - mamas is right, Seiko make a heck of a fine watch for the money. Congrats.

Having just bought a BM, I can appreciate it. The movement in the Blue one has been upgraded which is good news. Enjoy it in great health. However, with the red on the bezel and second hand tip, and the black chapter ring... IMHO it really does nothing for me. I may Yao-ize mine somewhere down the line. I'd love to get sword hands, a sapphire crystal and an aluminum chapter ring.

One of these days I'll just have to shut my eyes and get one of those... No one can say how many more of them Seiko will make. I waited to get the YM and missed out on the good deals before the YMs sold out at dealers. Now they get a premium price for them. I have 2 other special Seikos in addition to OM and BM. The new 'blue,' Seiko 5 40th Anniversary LE and an old hand wind chrono from the 70's.
