The older Omegas especially the 1957-1968 models were fitted with the lemania 2310 aka 321 which is considered by many as the highest grade and highest quality column wheel chrono movement available. See the ch 27-70 q used in the patek perpetual chrono. The movement in the seagull chrono that kz1000 owns is indeed using a venus 175 base Jacques Etoile also uses the venus movement
