Cool dude! There are a few guys here that have a few Swatches. Also, I got a friend that has several vintage Swatches. Have you ever visited Squiggly ?

Heck yeah we have SWATCH collectors here. I think every watch collector should have at least one. Here are two of mine:

I was big into Swatch watches when I was younger and there are a few kicking around this house somewhere. I did find this one that I got up in Canada when my family went to Expo 86. My wife really wants for me to get rid of my Swatch's...but I respectfully decline ;D

that's a very nice watch kz1000. what an interesting design... very similar to the ne plus ultra of Swatch watches the Kiki Picasso... but im afraid the one you've got isn't a Swatch

Here's a couple photos to see if you can tell me who did make it?

Hey there, nice collection of Swatches. Do you have any pics of your Pasha - I'd love to see it. I have only one Swatch - an automatic one to mark the 1992 Earth Summit.

kz1000> as far as i know, all Swatch watches have sealed backs (is that the proper term?). the fact that the one you have can be opened is proof enough that it isn't a Swatch. sorry. gmt16750 > i'll post pics of my other watches as soon as i get hold of a digital camera.

now those are definitely Swatch watches. that red one at the top is called "Compass" (1984) and the other is "Turquiose Bay" (1987) and they are quite collectable. anything from the 80's in mint, unused and unaltered condition are highly prized by collectors. at the moment a mint-condition Compass sell for EUR240.00. to think it's just a plastic disposable watch and they were cheap as chips back then. for current values of other Swatches, check out www.squiggly.com
