Since this is the only forum without a banner, I think that it's time to get one up and running!!
The rules are simple:
1. A maximum three entries per participant. 2. Must be new images, never posted before. 3. Keep image size no greater than 1024/768. 4. Watch must cost less than USD 500. 5. No Photoshop other than color correction.
The competition starts NOW, Jan 16 2005 at 20:00 GMT and it will be open for submission until January 30th of 2005 at midnight GMT.
A voting session will follow, and the top three entries will be photoshopped into a banner.
Post your entries as a reply to this message.
Good Luck and let's see your frugals!!

I find it useless posting some photos here since the variety of members of this forum does not allow "my collection" to be considered good enough for winning the contest . No bad feelings here don't get me wrong its just how it is. I have already entered 2 competitions with GREAT photos in my opinion but I got 0 votes because people will vote a Rolex or Omega photo (or even Invicta) even if the Casio is better. I think its not a lie to say that the forum is Rolex/Omega and now Breitling biased Nothing wrong with that, I'll just try a competition in a forum with a wider amount of people that love all brands Anton speaking on behalf of Casio,Seiko etc

i dont think that is right antonis.. the general forum has an invicta / d&s and rolex as its masthead.. i entered my omega photos in omega contest and other contests here and also didnt get a single vote either...infact i think only 1 entry of any photo contests i have ever entered has got more than zero votes.. ;D ;D ;D wont stop me entering other contests though... ;D ;D ;D

Anton... personally.... I think that you have a heck of a chance at getting one of the top three spots. But you will never know unless you enter.

i didnt say that in the negative way so dont get me wrong Its just a fact here... I mean over at WUS the G-Shock section is the second most active section of all brands. I just consider this forum a good place for rolex/omega entusiasts

I just consider this forum a good place for rolex/omega entusiasts I don't know much about G-Shock. Everything that I know I pretty much got it from you. Obviously there is something special about it since (like you mentioned) it has a very very strong following. Personally, I think that a G-Shock deserves to be on the banner of the frugal forum. C'mon... the G-Shock is authorized by NASA to fly in space! How many non-frugal watches can claim that?? My advice to you is... enter the competition. You never know what might happen. I got 2 votes in the Omega photo competition, and one of them was my own. How pathetic is that?? LOL But that will never stop me from entering. And yeah... this forum is a bit biased toward Omega and Rolex but that's ok. In time, that might change. You could always bring some friends over here from different forums and teach us more about the G-Shock line. I always read your threads as I find them informative.

Dont forget that i came here because i have a Rolex.. Most of the guys over there make fun of me for owning a Rolex

antoniscy I really hope that you enter some photos. I really enjoy seeing your pics and reading the info you provide. Gshocks are some of the toughest most interesting watches out there Come on man show us some pics If you dont I might have to dig up some of the ones you have posted before and post them as my own ;D. G-shocks are sweet man. The more I see them the more I want one

In a couple of weeks i have 2 ultra rare G-Shocks coming.. I wish i had them in time but i wont... Cant wait to get them.. I had to go to war to get them (almost literally ) As a maximum of 3 entries exists, it will be difficult for me, but i will post my entries tomorrow since its 2 AM now
