Hey Folks - my first post here - some of you may know and some not, for those who don't - I'm a admirer of watches (usually Rolex) but I certainly can't claim to be a photographer..... Below is the proof Here is what I'm wearing on this Thursday night: Best Regards - Neil.

Glad to see your first post Neil! That Junghans is intriguing. I see it's solar...does it self set to the atomic clock too?

Thanks Mike, Wetowne and Sam , Glad I found you guys at last As for the Junghans, its a Mega Solar Ceramic and it does indeed self set to the atomic clock and also for british Summer/winter time, quite handy that it sets itself when your abroad too (in the EU anyways, not too sure about further away) as I'm just back from a holiday in Majorca. It also has a time reservse of 6 months after only a short period of light exposure. Basically a watch that you never really need to set. I like the fact that it is almost impossible to scratch the bracelet or case and its the only watch I own that has no crown! Cheers guys - Neil.

Hey Mamas! - yes it is water resistant but only to 30m but thats more than enough for the times when I'll be wearing this watch.

Hi Neil, I've got something a little similar but not nearly as nice looking. I don't wear it very much but it is the standard that I set all my other watches to. I found a spot, actually the headboard of my bed that I strap it to beneath a window where it gets everything it needs, a radio signal from Colorado(no small feat here in New Hampshire) and plenty of light. It's actually more of a clock than a watch the way I use it.

LOL - good story Wetowne, if mine starts to lack light exposure I might just try the old 'headboard treatment' ! ;D ;D ;D Good pic by the way. Cheers - Neil.
