It has been several months since any PS tutorials have been posted.
Do you guys have any specific requests on what you would like to see/learn?
Just tell me what you need and I will try to accomodate you this weekend.
Thanks.

I already addressed the selections and the history brush tool. Tutorial 1 deals with selections. Tutorial 2 deals with layers and history brush.
Try those two, OR... if you have something specific that you want that is not covered in those (more general) tutorial let me know and I will take care of it.

Trust me not to read the tutorials first I'm making my way through a book on PS CS as bedtime reading - but it sends me to sleep I'll now read your first two Tutorials - thanks Chip

Chip, I just read the tutorials. What an incredible amount of time you put into that. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge. I have PS7 with no manual and have messed with it a little bit. This may get me back to trying some more. Thanks, Bob

There are three ways to get the image that you want Bob. 1. use the cloud filter on one layer then place the watch on top of it and erase everything but the watch from that layer. 2. Create a black layer above the watch, use the cloud filter, reduce the opacity of the layer. Then... using a very soft, featherd brush of large size, (for your pic size I would go about 300 pixels) erase the top layer (the cloud one) so you can see the watch behind. 3. Option three is the easiest one. email me the watch picture and I will do it for you.

Thanks, Chip. I was just messing around. I wish I could get my GMT pic to look as good as yours, but I don't have much to start with. I posted some yesterday on WUS. You may have seen them and been appalled. Cheers, Bob

I just finished taking my screen shots for my next tutorial. It should take me about 45 minutes from this point to come up with all the words to go with the screen shots.

You're welcome. I don't have another hour plus tonight to show you how I do the shadow thing but that will be my next thing. Unless I decide to keep a few tricks to myself. Just kidding.

Look at the big brain on Chip! Outstanding work. All I have to do now is go get another ream of paper, some new ink cartridges, print these out, and soon I'll have a manual better than the original. Thanks for your dedication and hard work. One question: I notice RGB in the channel selection. Do you always use that? Cheers, Bob

CMYK is better if you are printing stuff. Otherwise... monitors and the web work in RGB so I just leave it on the default RGB settings. Cameras also take the pics in RGB.
