Very clean. Rather reminds me of a railroaders watch.

I just have an itch for a manual wind with a nicely decorated Unitas movement. I can not afford Panerai or Maurice Lacroix (they have the nicest decorated Unitas based watches) but 450 is a lot more within reach. Unfortunatelly, (or maybe fortunatelly) RLT watches is always sold out of the thing. Here are a couple more pics posted by an owner on a different forum. (btw... they only made 30 so far and everybody that has one is very very satisfied with the quality of the workmanship).

That's pretty cool Chip....I like it! Does the one with the tan strap have a different color dial than the black strap version? It looks more silver/grey. Maybe just the photograph playing tricks.

AWESOME watch. Unfortunately, you will have to pick one up (if you can) on the used market. That was a Limited Edition Roy Taylor made 30 of and they all sold out before he had a chance to make them all. I have 4 of Roy's watches and they all are excellent values. This one is a one-and-only prototype he made. The Dial is unfinished and has some marks but I think those add uniqueness. mamas will appreciate this one; its name is Dodeca, the Greek word for 12. His version of the Meistersinger one-hand: It is very easy to tell time with this watch. The smallest index mark is 5 minutes, the next size 15 minutes and so on. These are some of the reasons I put Roy's watches on my list of top 3 frugal brands the other day. You will miss a lot of watch styles if you don't visit Roy's site and Eddie Platts site at timefactors.com. Eddie's Dreadnought has become a cult classic. He made 200 of them, sold them all out at 450 GBP ($750. or so) and at least one was sold for for over $3,000.

I found his site a few months ago and I visit it several times a week. He always has good deals and a large selection of "frugal" brands.
