I did size my Steelfish bracelet my self. I was pretty impressed with the intricacy of how it is put together. I will have to take some pictures if I ever decide to do any adjusting. It is certainly not as simple of a procedure as the Rolex screws. But still very good quality.

Hi Haj, I do find resizing Rolex bracelets fairly easy. Can you tell us what was so difficult about resizing the Breitling bracelet? Just curious, that's all. Thanks - JJ

Is the Breitling bracelet a standard friction pin and sleeve like Omega? Those aren't hard if you have the right tool with a long pusher. With a standard short pusher, it can be a real bear. The Eurotool sizing tool works beautifully.

The Eurotool sizing tool works beautifully. Breitling use screws to hold their bracelets together. They are great for 'do-it-yourself' adjustments as you only need an electrical screwdriver set which can be bought very cheaply. Thanks for the info. given though ;D

Gotcha Martyn...thanks! So how does the bracelet differ from the Rolex bracelet? As far as the screws go.

I am trying to find some pictures of the procedure online. I know that I have seen them before. The bracelet actually uses little short screws that hold sleeves that are formed in to the end caps. If that makes any sense.
Does anyone have a picture of this?

BTW. the rolex Seadweller screwdriver don't fit the breitling bracelet screws if like me you were thinking of using it , it seems rolex took the trouble to fashion the tool to precisely fit there bracelet screws, its end as those who have/had one know fits/fills the screwhead slot perfectly, great really avoids slipping and damage to the screwhead, "ahh! Rolex the attentions in the detail!!!" steve

Wow...that's interesting construction. Thanks for sharing. Any worry about those little screws backing out? Do you use loc-tite on them? The Rolex screws don't seem to back out which I was concerned about at first.

Oh, I thought the screws were full length and went in all the way like the Rolex ones. Do you guys know if my Pilot bracelet screws are the same as those pictured above? Thanks - JJ

There seemed to be Loctite or something similar on the screws when I sized my Steelfish bracelet. ;D

Some people use a dab of Blue loctite on the screws. Don't use Red!!

I used an air wrench to tighten them just to make sure they did'nt come out. I torqued them to 100 ft/lbs.
