Great Shots JJ! I need to retire my 5 years old 4mp point and shoot and get a real camera!! Chip, Nikon, Nikon, Nikon.
I just picked up a coolpix 7600 (7.1mp) for $289.00 (to go along with my legendary F5). That is an excellent price, George!! Now let's see some results!!

"Today I'll be using the Nikon CP4500", I think it beats even my D70 for close camera work - my pic was taken with the 4500 as above...

If you have a Nikon, select SCENE mode on the selector located on the top of your camera. Then press MENU and select CLOSE-UP....lock it in. Now you are in MACRO mode. A small yellow tulip will appear in the corner of your screen. You are now ready for some great shots. You will need a ROCK STEADY hand or preferably a TRIPOD. Use a light box if you have to in order to avoid light from the top and back to bounce off the crystal. Good luck - JJ
