Now that I've had the 5513 for a few days,Let's compare the 5513 to the 16610. Both watches were/are Rolex's standard dive watches during their respective eras. The first thing that strikes you is the big difference between painted vs. applied markers. The soft clarity of the 5513,opposed to the bright WG surrounds of the 16610. The sapphire crystal of the 16610 is the choice for an everyday piece. The uni-directional bezel of the 16610 I feel is the more practical however. [http://imageshack.us] [/URL] I must say as reguards the issue of Sel opposed to Non-Sel I like both. I consider this outstanding accuracy! Additionally position makes no difference to the 16610. In the Four days I've had the 5513 it has gained 3 sec. This from a 25 year old 1520 hacking movement. I feel very fortunate to have to examples with this type of accuracy! For those thinking of obtaining one of the other,I hope this helps.
