Al (Avalon) really does have quite a collection of fine time pieces! EXP II for me today.

Guys, Al's Blancpain does look good in the photos, but they don't do it justice. I've had that baby on my wrist and the dial really POPs when viewed with the naked eye.
Jut a stunning watch!
His other two big ticket watches aren't too shabby either.
Oh, my 01 as usual this week... on the black MP6.

Thanks mate. That strap is a rubberized calf so it's 100% waterproof, yet it doesn't have a rubbery texture or feel at all. I have no idea how Mario Paci (the maker) does it but it is an amazing strap.

Just find out which one itches the most and scratch it.

I kind of have a Panerai itch myself. I really would like to try one out for a few days and see if it's too big on my 6.25" wrist. The other worry I have is that normally I have problems with leather straps because of my small wrist.....they just don't fit as well as a bracelet. Anyone in Dallas area want to loan me their Panny? ;D Chip....go ahead and buy one so I can borrow it.

BTW, you can order shorter straps... some even come in manly colours too.

mmm..... No watch anytime soon for me. And when I do get one, it will be a Speedy Pro. Then go from there.

It's more the way a big cased watch covers the whole top of my wrist....then the strap goes straight down instead of along the top of the wrist and curves down. Make sense? Just doesn't offer a very comfortable feel. This is the same reason I don't like my Speedy Pro on a strap.

My wrist is about 7.25 or so, so I get a bit of bend before the strap goes down, but if my wrist was any smaller, I might be in trouble. That said, the Radiomir line wears smaller than the Luminor case, primarily because it's only about 2/3 as thick as the Luminor and also because it has the wire lugs and not the big horns the Lum has. Best thing is to try one on. Then again, OP does make 40mm Luminor watches and while some say 'don't get a 40 cuz you'll end up wanting a 44'... truth is, unless you put a 40 and a 44 side by each, you'd be hard pressed to see the diff. I've had a couple of 40mm Lums on and they feel great.

I have about a 6.75" wrist, but the shape of the wrist is also important. I had a Radiomir leant to me, and as Atomic points out, they are more forgiving for us small wristed people.
