That touch of red does wonders for that watch.
Rolex should bring that back and I would be the first in line to get one.

The patina on that one is gorgeous. I'd love to find a ND blue snowflake with that kind of patina!

Hands appear to have been replaced and the case looks over polished by the thin crown guards and super shiny sides.

Hi everyone
Thank you. I love red sub. I know I can't afford it. I've had over 50 different watches in the last two years. I can't afford to collect so I choose to flip!
I'm 28 and I would like you experts to see if its worth spending 7k to own my dream watch!
Please:(
The time I went to vegas tourneau wanted 11k

Message Pete, vincent65, pawnshopkiller, or Nicko to get a more educated opinion. These guys really seem to know what to look for and values far better than most.

Thanks Roger - I'm no expert, of course, but have looked at a few (thousand) and own a nice one! Happy to offer an opinion, of course. The pics on the one shown aren't great at all, but the dial seems to be pretty good. Would have to see it better though, and regarding the hands, which may have been replaced. Case is polished but not overly. CGs have had some brushes with the wheel, as you say, but they aren't too bad. I'd have to see much better/higher-res pics, and check the case for corrosion between the lugs etc. Any more info would help; service history and so on. As always, the bottom line... is the bottom line! All depends on what is realistically expected/sought, balanced with available budget/asking price, and where those factors align, and the degree of compromise therein. Something like that!
