I'm part to blame for this! I have to agree, the forum is just fine the way it is.

I have to say the idea of a FB page is something I don't like. One of my VW forums opened a FB page and because a lot more people spend time on FB than on car specific forums, the owner (a friend of mine) asked himself why he's paying to keep the forum up and running online, spending time moderating and cleaning up spam and the sort, when FB was thriving while traffic to the forum was waning. So he shut down the forum and the FB page is flourishing.
Granted, FB doesn't have archival information that forum software offers, which IMO is a great downfall of group FB pages, but it's easier for most, who just come in for a quick like or post a pic straight from your mobile device, without the PITA of having to upload a pic to photobucket and then copy and paste the URL to a forum.
I'd rather see more traffic here than on FB... unless the only purpose of the FB page is to remain static and drive traffic here. That's fine.
But I guess with economic hard times, people on any luxury driven forum have to slow down the purchases and live off the commraderie of the members. Everything is cyclical. But I agree with Baco that investing in a web guru getting some key meta data phrasing on Google would IMO be money well spent, if you want to increase traffic and profile.
My two Canadian cents.

Think the plan for the FB page is to point people this way. So far it's mainly my friends who have liked the page. At the moment I'm just grabbing photos of over watch pages and posting them on the WWF page. Hopefully people will see photos of nice watches & head our way.
